About us

Albergaria Dias Hotel is managed by João Dias and his son João Mendes Dias. It was officially inaugurated by the most excellent president of the Autonomous Region of Madeira Dr. Alberto João Jardim on December 9th, 1999. The purpose of father and son is, together with their employees, to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere to their clients in their small and intimate Hotel.

It is not a "fancy" accommodation but includes everything one needs. And for me I loved being on the other side of town away from the pretentious resorts. As far as I am concerned this is the place to stay.
